Veraterm Prerequisites
All versions of the Veraterm System require two system-level components on Windows 2000/XP workstations (in addition to
Microsoft Office XP/2003):

 |
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) v2.6 sp1 (minimum) |
|
Microsoft Visual Basic Runtime Engine v6 sp6 |
The Veraterm Installer will check for these components and inform you if the prerequisite installer
must be run. A test application is available which will perform the prerequisite check.
Users of Microsoft Office XP/2003 may also require the latest Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service Pack:

Add-In/Connector Prerequisites
Veraterm Add-Ins and Connectors may require additional software components which are not
included with the Add-In installer.

QuickBooks Foundation Classes (6.9 mb)
The QuickBooks Pro Connector requires version 3 of the "QuickBooks Foundation Class"
library, which is a free download made available by
Intuit.

Notice for Users of Veraterm Beta/Pre-Release Editions |

 |
Release versions of the Veraterm Manager will not overwrite
pre-release and beta versions of the product. |
|
Users of pre-release and beta versions of the Veraterm system
must manually uninstall the pre-release/beta components. |
|
All pre-release and beta releases included uninstallers, which
can be run from the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel. |
