Veraterm Software Licensing

Downloading Software

All software and accompanying documentation made available for download from this web site is copyright. Software and documentation ownership is retained by the copyright holder. How Veraterm Software Licensing Works

Each Veraterm software license permits the software to be enabled for use on only one PC at any one time. The Veraterm registration server ensures that a license key is not activated for use concurrently on more than one PC.

At the time of installing Veraterm software on your PC, you must be connected to the Internet for activation to occur. If you are unable to connect to the Internet to activate the software, you will not be able to use the software on your computer. So PC's that can't access the Internet will not be able to run the Veraterm software.

During software installation, you will be asked to type in your license key number. The software will then connect over the Internet to the Veraterm registration server. Your Veraterm software will be activated in your PC by the Veraterm server if no other PC has been authorized to use that license key at that time. Once your software is activated on your PC, you will not be asked to present the number again to run the Veraterm application on your PC.

During the Veraterm registration process, you may get the message that says "Invalid License Key" or "License Key is already in use". This implies that you either typed in the wrong key or the key you typed in is registered to another PC. You will first need to unregister the key from the other PC so that the key can be used in another computer.

If you need the software to work on multiple PC's, you will need to purchase a separate license key for each PC.
