What is a Veraterm Connector?

 A Veraterm "Connector" is the set of components that connects the Veraterm Manager
to a specific database application.  Connectors include:
Connection Classes:  Database connection functionality
System Connectors:  Contain most of the business logic for interfacing to a specific application
Displays:  Forms that are specific to the application
Expression Classes:  Extensions (custom functions) to the STTE's expression engine
Configuration Metadata:  Data atlases, data maps and data links that are pre-configured for the specific application.

 
 

What is a Veraterm Add-In?

 A Veraterm "Add-In" is a licensed extension to the Veraterm Manager that is able to display a splash-screen graphic on the Veraterm startup screen.  Add-Ins are used with 3rd party products that are compatible with the Veraterm System.  Typically, as Add-In package also contains Connector functionality.
